Hello, I need to clean my chiller out and I'm wondering what's the proper ratio of vinegar to water and how long I should let it run through the chiller? I was think 1:1 vinegar to water but I'm not sure. I also think 1hr would be good but idk just a guess. If anyone has had experience with this let me know!

It should be fine, vinegar is not awfully caustic. just make sure to run ro/di thru it for a while after that

An hour is fine but 15-30 minutes of warm 2:10 citric acid to water backflushed (reversed) should work fine too. i used an MJ900 for mine and there was lots of gunk and scale pushed out. if your running through a single bucket make sure to use a 100 micron sock or 50 micron sock to catch the junk before it recircs back through the chiller.

vinegar works too but may need a little more to be effective. doesn't affect titanium
