Question about dying scoly

Hello I went on vacation and my goby buried my Scoly now a small price is dying and showing skeleton it’s been recovering nothing has been touching it since but it looks like algae is growing on the skeleton is that gonna affect healing? If so what should I do? Here’s a pic the day I found it it eats at night still!

I'd leave it alone and get it off the sand. The more it is irritated the more likely it is to get infected. Put it on a rock.

Should I dip it in iodine or kfc dip it? Scared the algae on its skeleton will cause an issue
