question about tank stand

I've got a FijiCube 108EXT with the stand that comes with it. I'm a little concerned about the stand because the tank doesn't sit completely on it in (please see attached photo). If i place the tank so that the rear of the tank sits against the rear of the stand, the front edge of the tank hangs over the stand a bit. Is this OK as is, or should I reposition the tank on the stand or is this possibly a design flaw in the stand? Thanks in advance for the insights and help!

Its pretty common to see that. The pressure on the glass is pushing out, not down towards that seam. It will freak you out a little but it's common. If it makes you feel better (i've done this), put a piece of plywood the size of the tank to place underneath the tank. Then it will look better and maybe give some more comfort to the brain. I understand the feeling.
