Ok I noticed it turning white under it not sure if you can see in the pic or not .I know I lost a frag about 6 months ago from I believe RTN. Do u think this coral has it or is it just turning like this due to growth

A couple things come to mind when I see that. First is alkalinity being unstable. SPS like stability on all parameters. Second is shading. Once an SPS gets large enough, it can shade itself on bottom part. No light, no growth. Also, what kind of flow is getting. Do you have a dead spot where it is receded?

Alk been 9.5 ..and to be honest,i only check it one a week..and its usually at that level.

i know it gets alot shade casue i can see the shadow under it ..also flow pretty steady right there
