Recently my 10 year old daughter has expressed an interest in 3D printing and her birthday is coming up, I know nothing regarding the tech.
Love some input on a machine that she could use and I could use for this hobby.
If anyone also knows a good tutorial please point me in the right direction.

Thanks a million!!!

I had this same question last month. I purchased an Prusa Mini plus online and waited 4 weeks.

I am a complete 3d printing noob and already have successful prints on my very 1st try.

The ender 3 s1 I hear is good as well.

If you are serious about the hobby, I would also recommend Prusa Mini. There is a big helping community around the Prusa brand, from dedicated forums to groups on Facebook. A lot of free files are available on Printables.com. Have a look at the custom mods by @neil3dprints as an advanced example. You can also buy an enclosure for Prusa Mini in case you have other children about. To help you choose, have a look at this budget printer comparison list.
