My RO/DI unit is 100 gpd.
Checked psi after my sediment and carbon filters it is 20 psi. Placed pressure gauge after auto shutoff and on the in of ro membrane. When I turn the bypass open on the waste water line it reads 30 psi. When shut the bypass closed on the waste water line and the water runs thru the restrictor, the pressure goes up to 78 psi.

Is 78 psi too high?

Thanks

Not at all :) Anywhere from 60-90 PSI is considered good. Mine runs around 65PSI
