So, I've got a question, about phyto and pods. I know they are beneficial for the tank, but also food for fish and corals. And I'm wondering, how does it work, should I culture them in my DT (no sump) or should I have separate containers for them, and dose them as needed? If you could link any general guide to this here, it would be nice, cause I couldn't find any that answered my questions. Thank you in advice.

Culturing pods and phtyo is very easy and cheap. There's no real need to add them repeatedly to the tank, but if you intend to, then its a good idea to culture it yourself as it gets very expensive to buy it repeatedly. Its done in seperate containers, I use a plastic tupperware for pods and plastic coke bottles for phtyo. There are lots of "how to" videos on youtube to explain how to do it, and if you have any specific questions let us know. Good luck.
