Hey all, I would like to ask a couple of questions about the behaviors of shrimp gobies.

First of all, can a Yellow Watchman and an Orange Spotted (or another of the same genus) get along without killing each other? Will they even share the same burrow? How big of a tank do I need to keep both?

Also, should I get 1 Pistol Shrimp (Randall’s / Tiger) for both of them, or should I get 2 Pistols?

I learned something very interesting the other day, that Dartfish can actually share a burrow with shrimp gobies. If I keep, say, a small group of Scissortail and / or Blue Gudgeon Dartfish, can I replicate this behavior?

And finally, to feed gobies do I need food like sinking frozen food or pellets for carnivores?

Thanks.

I have an orange spotted goby in QT and it looks like a fish vacuum with whatever food I throw in there....LRS and pellets mainly.

Sorry, that's all I can answer for you

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
