Radion Gen5 Pro - Let the testing begin!

Many thanks to these folks for making this possible:

Hi Dana, which length of reefbreeders light are you going to be testing - the 16, 24, or 32?
Photon 48 v2+. Just assembled it and am charging the controller.

I'll start testing the Reef Breeders light as soon as I can get issues with the test aquarium's jigs squared away. Awaiting answers for questions from EcoTech Marine before proceeding. It is difficult for those who have never attempted this sort of testing to understand issues that can crop up. Thanks for understanding.

The old jigs used to elevate the eggcrate grid I used was unwieldy and it was a blessing in disguise that it need repair. It was successfully rebuilt after a trip to two hardware stores - one where social distancing had a couple hundred people waiting in line for admittance. The 90-gallon test tank is filled and I should be ready to go this morning. Now to get the ReefBreeder controller figured out. Still awaiting answers from EcoTech on Mobius control issues - I successfully downloaded Mobius to my Samsung phone, but it fails ('Mobius has stopped working' error message) after a few seconds. I'll borrow an iPhone and try that.

If i remember correctly from a thread i read on this, for Mobius to work on android you have to have location service for mobius on. They said they arent tracking you, just a glitch...

Yes, customer support asked me to check this - location is on.

Hi Dana, I know you’re busy but when/if you evaluate the Philips CoralCare could you comment on the control part, thanks!

So they rejected "Kessil Logic"...
See last paragraph...

The CoralCare GenII just might be the best overall led to hit the market.

But, would like to see what Dana comes to with the G5... :)
