Sorry, I had just purchased my xr15pros and I connected them via my laptop to update my schedule and then they uploaded to the radions. I then disconnected them from my laptop and brought them to my tank to be hooked up. Do they hold the schedule in their memory or do you need a laptop hooked up all the time to access ecotechlive.

No once you outbreak them you don't need the laptop connected. But you won't have access to ecotech live.

You should be fine without the reef link... but it sure is awesome to change the lighting at will

I usually only hook up my laptop once or twice a year to my Radions.
Set it and forget it.

Yup a good schedule is important but it’s also important to not keep playing with it. Light stability is very important for good growth.
