Looking to do Radions on a 30” tall tank-
Was going to do the xr15 pro but am making sure they will do 30” tall- hung 9” off the water

Tank will house mostly lps and easy stuff maybe a few sps towards the top later in life-

Tank is 48x36x30 tall- I will most likely have t5’s supplementing to get shadows and help with the 36” depth- was looking to space out 2-4 xr15 for control and all the other nice led things

Running XR30 G4 pro’s on a 72" X 30" X 24" with the RMS mounts with no problems.

From Ecotech Marine's web site:

RADION XR15W G4 PRO
All the spectrum, half the intensity. Perfect for the majority of aquariums 24-30 inches wide and deep. HTH

You will probably need two xr30 for a 48 inch tank
Believe each one will cover 24x24 area
As long as your supplementing with t5’s

This is my main question though if the 15 is just a single 30 puck wouldn’t it make more sense to by 4 15’s rather then 2 30’s? But if ya need the XR30w to get the 30” tall for penetration then I understand but for coverage the 15’s are better ?
