So very weirdly, one of my Radion xr30’s (1 of 3 sets, all on the same tank) purple leds start blinking as the light dims at night. Every ~10secs, the purple lights blink on, then go off. I tried turning the power off to lights, unplugging everything and the power supply for 24 hours, and still it reverts to this blinking as it gets later into the evening/night. I’ve searched for related issues and though I found I’m not the first person to experience this, couldn’t find anything specific for why this is happening and a solution folks have discovered. Any info is appreciated

Are they calibrated. If not there a chance that particular spectrum is. Not get getting enough power as it’s dimming.

How would I check this? These lights have basically been as is and running fine since I ‘inherited’ the tank.

Also, new item of note, 1) tried turning purple off/0% on the fusion app and 2) also tried unplugging all power to the unit /power supply for 24 hours. 1) did nothing and for 2) The 24 hour thing works, but then comes right back blinking a day later

It’s a option in settings

Update:

Alright, so finally got some time away from the kids and was able to take the radion apart. I noticed the fan wasn’t working and wouldn’t turn on even with coaxing so figured something with that might be the culprit in that the fan is overheating the unit or otherwise.

Upon taking the light apart, I noticed one of the wires for the fan is completely corroded, so makes sense why that isn’t working and would maybe speak to why it takes a day for the blinking to start, if it’s a temp/overheat related error. I ordered a replacement fan so we’ll see if that does the trick. Just wondering, has anyone seen an issue with the purple lights blinking at 10sec intervals due to overheating or temp issues?

I looked for calibrate but haven’t been able to find it in my apex app or on the dashboard. Also, because I inherited this system from the previous homeowners, trying to get access to all the apps/accounts has been spotty, to say the least. So still working on that side of the equation.
