Happy holidays to all... from Kalisha and I.
Thanks. It is relaxing for sure. I can get myself worked up bad sometimes. It's a zen for me sorta.awesome setup! must be super relaxing in there
Thank again @Scurvy
Red sea trace elements barely used.
And I got a few goodies. ;Smuggrin
This thing... is... a... Monster. And therefore being from the beantown area, and I, being a life long red sox fan, have appropriately deemed it, THE GREEN MONSTER
I purposely put the fish in the pic for size reference. Look how much space it fills in an FTS:
Macro for days on the PE it's currently showing off:
Purple/Green hammer. The goni has a friend now
The purple stylo settled in and furry with the other sps under the left hydra. Huge Hope's for this one:
I expect it to shed, since I plop n dropped it instead of a drip... LoL. Whoops! I got fresh carbon ready. I already regret it a little tho, like I should have checked a bit.. cuz theres about 8 aips on the rock its attached too. Haha. OH WELL. ;EggonfaceLooking pretty good for 24 hours. The leather will for sure be happier in some cleaner water and space to stretch out! It was forgotten in the scalywag tank
I'm not. HahaaaShed will happen in short order I am sure. Sorry for the aips, Cant see much of that rock its attached to but we knew they were in there.
You could probably pull it right out and chisel most of that rock away and glue to another if you’re feeling ambitious.
Do it! You’ll thank yourself later!I'm not. Hahaaa
But wings are inbound and I already topped off my ATO. I wanna be Al Bundy. I didnt disturb the aips, so hopefully they wont do anything drastic overnight. I'll likely try to remove it and chisel them tomorrow. I'll make 5g of sw tonight and have it ready for the Green Monstahhh! Haha. Thing is awesome man.Do it! You’ll thank yourself later!
It looks like sunburn peeling off its skin. Typically shrivelled up. They need to shed to grow from what I understood. But they also will molt/shed when stressed or parameters swing greatly. How do you know when it sheds? The one I got from you @Scurvy, I've never seen it shed....
Pretty much what he said. No polyps for a couple days, the skin appears dry or milky then sloughs off in the flow when ready. That particular crown leather did it only once or twice for me. The toadstools do it more regularly. At least mine did.How do you know when it sheds? The one I got from you @Scurvy, I've never seen it shed....
Super good shots Rich. I like the green monster pic.Thank again @Scurvy

I like my tank like print photos ratios. 5x7 would be niceWe all know!...300 gallons!
So many great pieces you have! In the morning you may have less blastosHere's your eye candy @Raege
Sunrise at the Barn Tank Rags Reef
(I target fed rotifers just before ramp up, so things a little "plump" at the moment)
The Gelatinus Iron Throne, with its King and queen of the 7 kindoms:
@NY_Caveman
The Lobo, New mouths forming left-center and far right. They appear to split rather than grow their own bases.
@Crabby48 , your fav, Joker blasto has gone from 2 heads, to 7.
I couldnt help but see juxtaposition and color balancing with the favia, and 2 blastos. It just sets up nicely.
Sticks have been placed, but not glued. The pavona is taking off. (The rebellious ugly twin kraken lurks in the shadows behind)
Acan island is plump and growing well.
And unlikely friends. Both from the @YourReef Livesale.
YR Cactus coral behind the YR Solar Flare chalice. Thanks john. All of the pieces I got are thriving, only loss was the tyree robukaki chalice. The hot pink mouths were stunning. Maybe I'll try another next time u cut em up
I just ran out of my last box of FRITZ RPM BLUE after a 10g WC last night. Luckily @Crabby48 hooked me up at Caveapalooza with what was left of his last box that he bailed on.. just mixed 2.5g and it's at 1.026, ready to test it. I run my own Q.C. department from home
I'll share the results in a bit.
I tested@Crabby48
Tests on ur Fritz Rpm Blue salt u gave me:
No3 - 0
Po4 - .02 (known)
Ca - 450
Dkh 10.2
Good to go for wc's and trace elements. Thanks again man.
Great shot!
I’ll be your servant and call you lord Najer for a smidgenOne of the shelves on the weir box piece!
I never seen mine shed. Today I was surprised to see mine with no polyps. How do you know when it sheds? The one I got from you @Scurvy, I've never seen it shed....
