Just give it to john when u guys meet up? Hes got ur zoas now. More heads than u paid for now that I grew a few out. ;)
I'm scratching to survive right now until I find something. No one is interested. It's like they feel I'm overqualified for Home depot and jobs that should be easy to get... I mean, I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but theres life support hardware on the ISS, Mars mission probe, spacesuits keeping astronauts alive and a satellite orbiting the sun I have contributed to. Am I crazy or shouldnt that be suffice experience to work at an entry level position? Its mind boggling.

@Scurvy- He lives right around the corner from me. I can grab it and drop it off on Wednesday if @RichtheReefer21 is ready for it.

Alrightly... just caught up on everyone's threads. Very busy weekend. None tank related. Will break the update into 2 for those who just care about the fishy biz ;)

A yard of loam and reseeding for an area that was killed by a pool over a decade ago. Plus some low spot filling and patches that needed it.

After the work was done and watering complete, they enjoyed the first '"sprinkler runs" of the summer.

Found a beetle, Alianna and her neighbor friend upstairs had a nature lesson. They all squirmed but managed a few touches :) I guess I do have moments of enjoying being a father.

Not much changed over the weekend with the tank.
But I have recieved my SHU Acclimation box by #octoaquatics and @cromag27
Gonna be a battle to not bring the fish out of QT early :D

This thing is sooo sweet. Acrylic encased, top-shelf magnets, acrlyic molded 'click in' latch for the lid. And a lifetime guarantee? Touchdown!

Tank to-do's...
  • Finish painting and touch up trim
  • Hang the new refugium light
  • Gyre maintanence
John will be over tonight to drop off some chaeto to go with the light courtesy of @Scurvy

Thanks again sir

That is great. My oldest would have grabbed it right up. Bugs, snakes, worms, she manhandles all God’s creatures, LOL.
It was a warm smile on my face for sure.

@Fudsey u still in need?

Filled 16 gallons in the ATO Res. And currently mixing another 10 for the QT.
20190619_192527.jpg

Decided to try the kitchen instead of the island to do the wc's. Worked ok I suppose.

QT fish still show no signs, no issues, and eat like John Candy at the Steak Challenge! Still no spots, weird poo, heavy breathing, flashing, nada...

Honestly, it's all to my surprise... considering prazi was the only medication I have dosed since they all got in. 4 different fish. 1 from a Petco, and a feather duster...
Though I will say, I figured if I am going to observe this round rather than prophylactically treating, why not give them a boost, a shield, if you will... I trust them for my salt, so I figure why not give this product from Fritz a shot for s&g... maybe help any freeswimmers from easily grabbing on I suppose.

Going all the way back to the firefish introduction, and all the more after, some of these fish have been in observation for 45+days, a moderate guess. Too lazy to find the post. ;)

I'm about to tackle the new Hulk Fuge light from @Scurvy and there might be an order for macro that I managed to get the better half to put in. Our 3 year anniversary is coming up June 25th. I am taking her to see Cirque Solei Luzia in Hartford. She gets her dancing and performing arts, I get macro for the fuge.

I cannot wait to get a decorator crab and/or frog fish in there once the macro all settles. Stoaked.

Their view is you will be bored the first day. And looking for something better as soon as possible.

They want someone reasonably content to stick around for less money and become a more permanent part of their team.

Glad the kids are enjoying summer and the tank is doing well.
