I've decide the midas is a female. Since we get to chose these days.

I've missed her so much brian. Makes me sad inside to she her suffering. I am really leaning towards a broken bone perhaps during the move. Perhaps 2 months or so have given it some time to heal. I spot feed her mysis and brine to make sure she doesnt have to go out lookin for food.

She is still my favorite fish by far. I miss the lazy days of the her laxing in the recliner, and her tail whisking in the flow.

Almost makes me feel obligated to named them. But Idk...

Went to the lfs for chemiclean. None there. So naturally, I wasnt going to be played a fool and waste all that time and gas for nothing!

So I spent the 20 I had for chemiclean on this little rescue. ;Shy

Another cheap test piece to see if my parameters and light schedule will handle them.

The new grow light will be up and running shortly.

So I decided I wanted to get a base line for no3 and po4 and study the decline on a weekly basis.
No3 was never over 15ppm when I had this 125 running on a canister filter filled with Matrix, an OG Remora hob skimmer, and my ghetto DIY 3 gallon hob chaeto fuge.

Since dosing vibrant, lost the chaeto. And no3 has steadily climbed to 50ish ppm. Po4 has climbed back to .21 ish. I got a .19 result on the 2nd test.

Will be interesting see how they are affected by the Buff Nutrient Export fuge now that it is finally full.

Also, i decided to flip over the base rock I was using to add visual depth. Trimmed the plugs and glued them onto larger frag rectangles.
