I'm considering either a Rainford's or a Hector's goby for my 120g. I've already got a Hi Fin Goby. Any issues between these fish? Could I get away with both a Rainford's and a Hector's in this 4ft tank? @eatbreakfast

That will not be a problem with the hifin.

Hector's and rainford might work out. I've kept both in a 120 before, but I know others who have had issues in slightly smaller tanks.

The hi fin will be fine with either.

The hector and rainford may/may not coexist.

Thanks all. If you could only have one of the Rainford or Hector's which one would you have? Are they basically the same fish so pick the one I like the looks of the most?

Basically they are the same fish. But rianford gobies are being bred by Biota, so I would recommend a captive bred rainford.

In a 120 I would say not, furthermore even though they are both gobies they have different body shapes. As for the Rainsford and Hector's, as mentioned above they are almost identical species so it would not be a good idea. I would go with the Rainsford personally.
