Just a little photography fun. I'll try to keep this updated as a progression diary.

Do you have a link for the lens? I have a T5i that I would like to start using for macro photography.

I don't have a link to the exact thing (we bought the unit off someone on Craigslist), but here's what it reads on the side of the lens!

Tamron SP Di
AF 180mm f/3.5 (IF) macro

Hope that helps!

Beautiful fish. I've heard those orange spots are hard to care for.
Thanks! Yes, he's the most difficult fish I've kept for sure. Partly because he's a major drama queen and acts as if he might die as soon as something goes wrong, but also because he needs to eat pretty constantly. I have a mini fridge in my stand hooked up to a DOS which feeds the tank every 2 hours for a total of six feedings during lights-on period. I've only had him since May of this year, so I'm hoping he continues to do well under my care!

May I ask what you feed him? I'm just curious. Never really wanted to keep one but I love knowing about any and eveything I can.

Absolutely beautiful. I love the whites and pinks. Reminds me of a Japanese cherry blossom garden.

My guy likes bloodworms, brine (both regular and spirulina), mysis, formula one, and the marine cuisine cubes. He'll also eat some of the omega one micro pellets if I soak them in water long enough so he can suck them down. I think he eats them because he feels like he has to compete with the other fish and grabs whatever he can. He also likes pecking at the rocks. Not really sure what he's pulling off of there though.

Thank you, it does resemble the blossoms a little, especially in this photo!(:

The complete cohesiveness of your reef color scheme is stunning. You eye for color and composition comes out in your tank as well as your photography. Kudos!

What he said, lol. Everything just looks like it belongs in the tank. Nothing is out of place. I couldn't get that out in words, feel like I need to roll my tongue up like one of those looney toons characters.
