Ranco Aqua Probe (dual) best option?

Don’t have an apex ( bad experience) and am considering other options. Don’t trust the reviews of the inkbird but wanted to hear others reviews. Would be coupled with BRS titanium (2x 100w for my 75G)

Sucks it has a 3.2 on BRS on 50 reviews. That is scary low for a setup IMO, but am listening to options

if you're looking for an expandable controller option, there's also Hydros.

Horrible reviews again on BRS. Are BRS reviews still trustworthy? Have seen a bunch of issues on those as well. Not sure of many other options

I think anything BRS doesn't own has bad reviews. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I'm using the Hydros controller for monitoring but not as a controller yet. Like I said on the Inkbird, I've been using it for about 3 years successfully.

The Ranco is a very solid template controller. I use them at work on welder chillers and they have no issues in a dirty weld environment. Use two on my tank primary and secondary heater.

Those are all just rebranded Ranco. Any of those choices are fine. Ranco is industrial grade. Been using them for 20+ years.

Yep, I just like the probe setup with it. I have seen other recommendations mentioning this setup and I think this is how I will go

No I use single stage and one temp probe

the dual probe setup is in the ranco manual. Wiring them in series or parallel is called temp averaging. I’ve been using the ranco for at least a decade. Solid piece of equipment.

Hey, I got the dual stage Ranco a few nights ago from aqua probe. I hope I read right that I can run the two 200w titanium heaters I have , on each of the two lines…
