One downside to him is he was the last edition and every fish I’ve put in since then that’s even close to his size hasn’t made it. I gave up on new editions years ago.

Nice score! Sounds like he is an aggressive one though. I had a purple tang long ago and he ran the tank. Haha!

We've had him for about a year, maybe a little more. I know they get a bad rap imo for their ability to thrive in a tank.

Lots of nice fish in this thread! Here is one of my Rainbow basslets. Beautiful fish with lots of personality. This one is about 4" long and has doubled in size over three months it has been in my tank.
