Rather embarrassed to ask but is this a frog spawn or hammer?

I feel pretty dumb for having to ask but I can't figure out which this is. Hammer or frog spawn?

Looks like you were correct.

My trouble is I see both Hammer and FS tips....but obviously it isn't both.

In my inexperience, hammer has broader tips that are the same size or larger than the "tentacle".

Frogspawn tips are much smaller than the tentacles.

The attached pic is a true frog spawn of mine. To me yours looks like a grape coral or possibly a hammer. Hammer typically have a crescent shape to the tentacles but sometimes they don't develop under some conditions. Do you have a picture of the mother colony?

I do not have pics of the mother colony. But I have smaller frags from the same person. I asked him already and he said he didn't know...."it was just in the bag".

I would say this coral is a Morph between a hammer and maybe a Tourch or a frogspawn.

Here's two of my Hammer corals...

And not the best pic but this one is my frogspawn.
Look close and you'll see some hammer-esque shaped heads.
This is why I think it's a little hard to tell what the OP has.
