Rattling protein skimmer pump head

Hello,

so my protein skimmer pump nozzle/head (photo below, it is the thing with the silicone around it) is vibrating like crazy. in the photo you can even see how it distorts the water. everything else on the pump is dead silent. Has anyone ran into this and found a fix?

If not and it's better to just get a new pump/skimmer please send suggestions. i am going for silence and am a NOOB so i doubt my bioload will be that high anytime soon. I have a red sea 250 with a 10 gallon sump so 64 gallons in total.

this looks like the old style eshopps skimmer with no bubble plate. Realistically any dc skimmer pump with correct specs should work as long as you can adapt the outlet to the correct size for the skimmer. It might be easier to upgrade though as the older ones were more of a pain to adjust and clean
a reef octopus varios should work well just need to check the specs. Also includes the venturi and tubing

thank you for the reply. I ended up dropping some $ on a new Magtool skimmer (I am not made of money). hopefully that makes things a little more quiet.
