PZ is Park Zone... same company as E-Flight. My t-28 was like 34" wingspan. There was a smaller version, which might have been sold under the E-Flight name or maybe they have recently changed some names around.
Ah, had no clue.
Just measured the wingspan and its 44"

Well, here's my other hobby. This was built from a box of wood... Just finished up today. Maiden flight maybe tomorrow morning if winds cooperate. IMG_6164.JPG IMG_6166.JPG IMG_6167.JPG IMG_9096.JPG IMG_9160.JPG IMG_9261.JPG IMG_9333.JPG IMG_5868.JPG IMG_5977.JPG
Fascinating, where I can read more about such build. Do you CAD the wing and other parts. What about the electronics? Is it all custom made or there are kits available.

Heck, you made me look it up. I said 34", but it was 44". You are also correct in that they changed it to E-Flight and now offer them with retracts and AS3Xs (sort of defeats the purpose of the original PZ t-28). If you go to Horizon and look at the t-28s, there is a note about the old PZ t-28 mainstay beside the lowest level t-28. Apparently those two are exactly the same.

Wow! This is cool ... me and my dad flew rc for a long time also ... we were actually really good friends with the owner of a company called Lanier Rc ... we lost him a few years ago ..... the company actually sold to Great Planes before he passed away .... any of you guys remember Lanier Rc ? They actually had like the first ARF kits many years ago

I have in the attic 3 Shulter sp? helicopters and a Kavan Jet Ranger helicopter kit that is still new & never built. 2 Sig cadets airplanes up there also. These were from about 1982 to 1987 time when I was heavy into RC... planes, helicopters, boats and cars. Have a few trophies from my car racing days. Seeing these pictures really brought me back to happy times.

Very nice build, she is beautiful;)

RC aircraft is one of my hobbies as well, tho all of my planes are foam. I'd like to build a couple balsa kits when I have more time as I had a neighbor who built them and I always enjoyed watching him put them together.

Got into first person view flying years ago and that has been an insane addiction. But I still enjoy flying my los planes and hopefully will have the time to put something nice together like you have in the near future:)

This is actually a kit. All parts are laser cut. You just have to pop the wing rips and such out of the balsa sheets. You basically get a set of plans and a bunch of little pieces of wood. Absolutely amazingly relaxing experience. Also quite the feeling of accomplishment when you see something you literally glued together take flight.

Check out Sig Aircraft if you're interested. They have tons of great kits.

I got an Inductrix FPV and some fat shark goggles. I also got a separate tiny transmitter and camera that I've thrown on my GWS slow stick. Can't wait to play with it some more. FPV is a crazy experience, especially since I'm a full scale pilot as well. It's a good time.

Very cool, a buddy has a slow stick that's setup for fpv and its a fun relaxing flyer. The inductrix is an awesome little indoor quadcopter, I've had mine for awhile and since upgraded the motors for a little more fun:)

fpv rc is such a fun hobby, but boy does it get expensive.

That is really amazing, but come on! I wanted to see it land.

Oh man......now you are making me want to get pics of our collection.
Too bad im on hurricane curfew and i cant drive or apparently ill go to jail if im out so ill subscribe and add photos when i can lol.

This thing is outrageously powerful. My larger scale planes were always gas. I've never had a large scale electric plane. Today's technology is incredible.

Man I miss RC. I used to fly slope out here in Cali. First glider was a balsa Wanderer, then slope combat Wing Zagi, then I built a
66" carbon slope racer

image.jpg Hey the other day when I posted I forgot about this 14 footer goose hanging in the garage heh

It flies

But with tail only control, no wing throws, so I have to glide half a mile to land and it's not fun only flown once. Built in 76 I bought it second hand off builder after extensive questioning lol in 2006. He sawed two feet off each wing already leaving it at fourteen!

Who doesn't want a plane with wings longer than typical pickup. We transported this in a subcompact btw

Wings and tail hanging five feet or better outside windows. Each wing is about 7 ft
