Real Australian Live Rock Back!!!!

I had the strangest hitchhiker on my last bunch that looked like a mushroom (it started growing underneath on of the branches of rock) and eventually it dropped off and it turned out to be a plate coral and not a mushroom at all.

I should probably get a picture but I haven’t been motivated to do it.
That's awesome. You have to get a picture. I've got something like that, but I thought it was an acan or something. It hasn't dropped off, but still cool... Also haven't snagged a picture.

Awesome!

Edit:
Because the lenses are in the house, and the blue images don’t show much

Awesome! My hitchhiker looks similar, but without the long tentacles.

I have the same ones, LOL!

Do you have any decorative live rock that is long, narrow like this one? I want to make a over hang. Hoping not to have to cement pieces together to make a long one.

The problem with the long pieces is gonna be if they survive shipment, they are not very gentle when ups or fedex ships these, not doubting Erics packaging because my shipment came in well packaged, but keep in mind they will most likely not come in one piece unless the rock is solid.

All true. I have had some shipments arrive shaken up but most arrive pretty well. For a special piece like this, I’d have to use a larger box and pack it really well. Might have to go by itself in the box to give its best chance.

Hi, i thought the LR was sold as uncured?
I put it in water as fast as I can. Keep it there curing for customers. Some like it fresh, others like it cured. Nice to have options:)

Im looking for about 20lbs fresh. I had a massive die off from a product i used called “Dino X”. It’s a German product and listed as a Biocide. That was a major mistake and almost drove me right out of the hobby. The 20 lbs will be olaced in a 500 gallon system. It will be back to 700 gallons once i replace a tank but, I believe 20 fresh should be fine. It’s still $25 lb correct? You offer next day?

Thanks Tony

Hey Tony
I’m currently waiting for the next shipment probably end of next week. I have it listed on the site now for $30 a pound plus shipping and I always ship overnight. Keep an eye on the thread here and I will post updated pictures when I get the next shipment in. You can decide if you want me to hold it or ship it to you fresh. The fresh stuff typically has better coverage when it first arrives appreciate the biz!

I just purchased about 85 lbs from Eric. I owe him a great review after the experience and wonderful rock, but I've been too busy scaping.

I'll get pictures and a review of the rock up soon(ish), but I can promise everyone a couple things:

a. Eric is awesome to work with and really goes the extra mile.

b. The rock is SO much lighter than expected. I ended up with about 85 lbs, including a fair amount of rubble (breakage), and my 200 gallon was packed.

c. It's costly, but totally worth it. With Eric's rock and Florida sand, my ammonia reached .04 on day 3, then lowered to .001 by day 5. Beautiful shapes, some coralline coverage, and a few hitchhikering corals. So far, no pests.

If you purchase this rock, specifically from Eric, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you again, @Eric Cohen. I know I owe you a decent review!
Thanks for Sharing I am just starting up a 400 gallon tank and looking into actual "LIVE ROCK" I already have about 90 lbs of real reef rock but think LIVE Thanks for sharing
