Real Australian Live Rock Back!!!!

Eric, can you tell me how much that piece in the first video weighs, roughly?

I'll be setting up a 180g in April and plan to stock it full with your Aussie rock...

Knowing the rough weight of that rock and seeing its size in the video will be a big help to me in estimating how much rock I'll need to order.

Thanks! If you are looking at the 10 lb piece, I believe it just sold to Dooly on here. Text me on my cell and I’ll show you more options what I have left. 818-269-8903

Hi Eric,

I will be starting a new tank this summer, I have some old dry rock from a previous tank, would it be ok to seed that rock with some of your Australian rock? Also how would you recommend preparing the old rock of any old impurities or such?

Any reason to believe your old rock has impurities? Did you expose the old rock to any chemicals like copper or antibiotics?

Yes you can mix the old rock with real live rock and it will be of benefit.

Waiting your reply.

Best

Eric

Hi Eric,

Well some of the rock is rock I know had no impurities mixed to it, it was rock from Aquaroche in France, the other is rock from my cousin and I do not know if the person he had maintain his tank used any chemicals like copper or such?

One option is try to remove the impurities, if you think that is a bad idea, then i will just get some new dry rock to use with your Australian rock

I have heard of people using acid to wash rock but I have never done it. If you are not sure and want to be on the safe side, you should not use and order some new base rock that is relatively cheap. Marco rock or I also can hand pick you Real Reef Rock (artificial) but nice color and you can cover that up with the good stuff from Australia. Check out your options.

My Australian rock is super light weight for volume. You can really stretch it out. Talk soon!

How often do you get this rock? I am in the process of ordering a 670 gallon tank and am leaning toward this rock for it. How many lbs do you think I would need for a 120"Lx 48"W tank NSA?

Wow nice tank size!

I work closely with the supplier so we could request some big pieces for sure!

I think you could estimate 30 pounds (1 box) for ever 50 -75 gallons.

We could schedule it to arrive when you’re ready to receive it.

Do you have any more Australian LR in stock, or expecting an order soon?

Hey there. I do have a full batch of cuter decorative style rock. Happy to pick you out some of what you’re after.

You absolutely won't be sorry. Beautiful rock and Eric was fantastic, he really went above and beyond with me.
I had the strangest hitchhiker on my last bunch that looked like a mushroom (it started growing underneath on of the branches of rock) and eventually it dropped off and it turned out to be a plate coral and not a mushroom at all.

I should probably get a picture but I haven’t been motivated to do it.
Edit:
Because the lenses are in the house, and the blue images don’t show much
