What do you mean by real reef rock? Depending on where you buy but rock can come straight from the ocean. Not sure if this is what you mean. Or do you mean just taking rock from the ocean?

Same I have set up several tanks with real reef rock..

There are a few videos of real reef rock you might be interested in.

I believe this is the finished Aquascape or another he did..
He has several videos.

Realreefrock is very, very dense. Look at shelf rock from Marco Rocks.

Are you looking for wet or dry rock? I just dry rock off Amazon for just over $1 a lb. Also going to add some wet rock from my LFS as well as from Tampa http://realreefrock.com/20-reasons-why-real-reef.htmlBay Saltwater for the additional bacteria and hitchhikers.
Here's the dry rock I got.

This is the rock I’m talking about.

ReaL Reef rock is manmade rock. Somehow painted purple and red to simulate coralline.

It can be bought dry. Or after having been ‘maricultured’ in vats.

I’m thinking if setting up a system with it.

Who has used it? I’m interested in an experienced review.

I have used it and it worked perfectly!
i would recommend it to everyone for many reasons but most important that it came as a "live" rock with all the pluses but did not have any critters so that was great and still is a year later...I recommend it
