Really great photos. I never asked - for your photo color correction, do you use a lens filter, light settings or post processing/RAW ? Or native camera color balance settings?

I used to use a reflex Canon and made the corrections with the Photoshop.
Nowadays, I only use a cellphone and I make some corrections with an app called InShot.
It's a lot easier for posting on IG.
My cell is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 11. Nothing very fancy....
And I use the native camera app, in the PRO mode.
It let me adjust the ISO, the WB and Exposition.
I use post-processing to increase the contrast, to fine dial the temp, saturation and gama, essentially.

Just beautiful mate!
Thanks!

Hey Jan!
That island becomes a very interesting part of the reef.
I will now try to create some "clean" colonies of my favorite morphs.
There are some very invasive ones, and the final result is a blend of everything.
Some with some polyps, and some with hundreds.

I decided yesterday that it's time to "downgrade" the tank.
Looking to old photos I realized that I liked the tank a lot more when it was less packed.
The glass will stay, but I'll start to remove corals.
My goal is to show a lot more of the sandbed, just like was in 2018/2019.

I agree with your thoughts here Alex. Sometimes less is more.

Sad news Guys, Alex passed away today. I know he have many friends worldwide and I just want to inform you all.

Words from another friend of us:

"Today we lost a great aquarist, a friend ..a great human.
Alex was very dedicated to the things he did, and he always did everything well.
We could clearly see this in his plants and his aquariums. His greatest dedication was to being a great friend.
He always helped a lot to those who need, he never had a bad time. Even with his reserved manner, yes, he was funny.
He was a master at making his friends laugh at barbecues and drinking parties.

That was Alex, for those who didn't know him very well!

Today I say goodbye to one of the best friends and some of the greatest guys I've ever met in this life!"
