Do you know if he ran the Trident Shutdown task before giving it to you? If the Trident is offline for more than 72 hours, the Trident Shutdown task should be run to purge all of the tubing so no reagents or sample water is left in the tubing to dry up and clog the lines.
If the reagents are low or empty, it would be best to order new reagents. The Trident only knows when it's time to replace the reagents when you install brand new bottles and it calculates how much is left based on the number of tests it runs. If you're reinstalling used reagent bottles, it will assume they are 100% full and it won't know they've run out until you start getting Test Failed notices.
