Recommendations for tank stocking

I’ve got a 32 gallon biocube led. It’s currently occupant is one four stripe damsel and a ****ton of coral. I’m moving my damsel to my new 16 gallon. I want to know what would work best in my 32.

My wife is insistent on clowns. I’m thinking some common clowns. Small ones.

next I want to add either a royal gramma or orchid dottyback. Whichever is less likely to become a nightmare.

some form or reef safe wrasse, provably a green or yellow corris wrasse. I had a green years ago and he was awesome.

last im thinking either pajama cardinals or Bangai cardinals. Let me know if anything here wouldn’t work well together. Ans ive never have clowns will they be too aggressive for cardinals?

Royal gramma. Maybe a blue or yellow strip gobie. Clown should be ok with cardinal.

Gobies always work, along with certain hawkfish species. Add the gramma last because they are very territorial and will bully any new fish u add after him

That’s a good list, the RG or OD is a coin toss.
Of course, the wife is absolutely correct.

Be careful with the royal gamma. They can be aggressive and territorial. As said, at least add it last. Remember, someday if you want to add another fish, it may be an issue. Some clowns are more aggressive then others. There are many varieties.

That’s about what I figured. I’m only gonna add a few fish. The clowns, a RG/OD, and probably some kind of reef safe wrasse will be all. Just trying to decide between the gramma ans the dottyback.

I have both but in a 180g.
My RG is “all bark”.
Either will be fine so completely your choice.
I liked having two colors instead of one, but, that’s just me.
I really like your thinking.

Which one moves around more? I loved my engineer goby but he was sendentary so I want something that moves around some. If my damsel wasn’t so huge I’d leave him in there he’s just gonna be too big for the tank raised stuff I’m getting. He’s a wuss but so old and big.

Both equal IMM.
Both rock dwellers mostly, with usually modest movement outside the area they claimed, unless feeding, then everyone is out.
