i'm looking at a 36x36 stand- considered a nice acrylic but also tempted by a cheaper diy 20g sump or something similar. Have a Nyos 120 so skimmer is small. Instead of fuge may do algae scrubber.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Currently have a 125g with 75g stock tank sump. Need to downsize.

I use a 20Long for my 93cube. But it really depends on the design of the stand. My stand is custom and the back is totally open. The 20l sticks out the back some, but it doesn't matter because my overflow make the tank 4-5" off the wall anyway
