I was wondering why my red cap is more pink than others I have seen. Are the rest of my sps looking good as far as color is concerned?

Well here is the problem lol. I have a 48x12 sink with 110 blue and white Crees and I just borrowed a par meter from a friend. I found that my par under the surface was only at 115ish. I was amazed that my sps was even growing! I have since then cranked it up to about 175 but now I am afraid to start bleaching chalice and favia on the sand bed. It does not seem I can turn it up to about 250 like I want and keep lower light stuff on the bed. Do I need to raise the light up more to decrease par on the bed and still have 250+ at the surface? I crank up that light past 75% and I get over 1300 par 5" down! My front room looks like a runway from the street!

All my sps is currently as high in the tank as possible.

I don't think Its water quality cuz I test every week and dose. The only problem I had was a couple months back. I put theGfo reactor back on line and it kinds shocked the system. Really I hate using gfo because I can never seem to get the right amount. Even if I start out with a couple tablespoons and gradually increase it still seems like a get some bleaching! What is everyone secret for gfo? P04 rarely gets above .03 according to salifert even without gfo.

Have you ever checked par level on your sand bed Paul K? Just curious what everyone else's reading are on the bottom so I can establish a baseline. Should I shoot for 100ish?

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
