Red Coris Wrasse Experience and Compatibly

for you guys with a red coris wrasse what size did you get it at and what size it it now? I see online it can get up to 16" what is max size in captivity?

I have a 200/275 peaceful FOWLR that is focusing on butterflies, angels and wrasses.
thinking about this guy or a tusk as a show wrasse but dont want it to mess with other fish.
thoughts?

I added a Red Coris about a month ago and so far have had no issues. He doesn't even mess with the snails and crabs which I expected. No throwing sand........no aggression to the other smaller flasher wrasse in the tank.

Mine started about 2” and is now probably 4-5”. Had him two years.

I’ve had my red for about a year and a half. He’s losing his juvenile markings so he’s starting to become a little more of a bully. There is a mel and solar in with him in a Red Sea 525 and nothing has escalated past some fin flaring. I will confirm other comments about sand flinging and a general disposition to chaos (flip frags, rocks, snails, etc)

impressive those 6 lines can be jerks.
bummer as there amazing fish other wise. small good looking and fun to watch.
Yeah red Coris is twice the size and in the rank for a year or more before the six line. Seems to have worked to keep six line in his place. I never see aggression from either of them.
