red discosoma?

Hi

I recently bought this online and it says that it is red discosoma. Is this the juvenile stage? The photos on google look very different.

Discosoma is a common mushroom. I actually see either a really PO mushroom or I have no idea what that is.
Looks sick to me. Lots of green on that plug.

My experience with red discos is that they take over the tank. I see at least one that needs some light, however I'd give that bad boy away asap and stick with ricordia.

I would guess it was "glued" onto the rubble and the rubble was glued onto the plug. The mushroom if there ever was one is likely long gone.. Even little ones will look the same as adults, maybe not as vibrant and bright but they will still look like mushrooms.

Its possible it was loose in the bag and overlooked
