Red planet acro...

Is this the real colors of a red planet acro? Are there lighting differences for a color change?

That does not look like a red planet, but who knows maybe it needs more time to change back to red. I've bought some before and they came in orange changed to green and now coloring back up to the original color they where when they arrived.

Could be red planet. They can be mostly green or mostly red or a combination depending on your lighting (or other factors I suspect). I think higher light intensity tends to make it more red versus green. My red planet took months to color up to a deep red color, although it never looked as green as your picture.

Usually my red acroporas are green before they turn red after shipping. Takes a couple of month to change back for me.

Another vote for "might be Red Planet" under lower par. In higher par the red becomes pronounced and the green can even disapear.

By the way, the aiptasia coming through the frag rack and your acro made me think of this: :p:p:p

Yeah I know. It's been a struggle....I tried nudis...8 of them to be exact, every once in a while I see one on glass... but it seems like nothing is being done about the aiptasia... so now I've been taking rocks out and into a 10 gallon where I have peppermint shrimp that I don't feed and they have been very successful so far...

I never saw the nudies do anything and disappeared. Months later you will find a random one at night. If you see them crawling around they are hungry. They kinda change colors brown if just eaten and white if hungry. I bought just a few like 6 for my 180 and they are all including sumo frag tank and overflows. They make there way around and get the job done.
