Hello sorry if I posted in the wrong category.
But I bought my first salt water tank and it arrived with a crack
I honestly feel the tank is fine but my shop insisted in replacing the tank so why not!
to me it’s only the back black plate that is broken the tank glass itself is fine. I have not tested for leaks but you’re more than welcome to.
Red Sea is letting me keep the cracked tank.
Was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a deal?
I’m in SoCal San Fernando valley.

88 is Correct, I have one.
The only thing I see that could happen is this tank could crack more...
wonder if you could get a liquid glass sealant. Then put a Small pane of glass over it and seal that over the crack. Might work then...

88 gallon I believe
Silicone still intact

I am replacing it but they’re letting me keep this one too
gottcha yea i mean you could get silacone and put a heavy coat on it and then a thick piece of glass on top of it might do the trick and sell it
