Red Sea Nano Mat Inquiry

Hello Reefers,
Installed on Friday night the Red Sea nano mat on my Red Sea nano g2 and I haven't seen this thing turn automatically once. Saturday morning when I woke up and tested parameters I could see that it still hadn't rolled. I hit the manual button and it rolled up a bunch of crap. Anyone have this on there tanks? I'm also using the ATO top off that comes with the AIO Nano Tank.
I've also seen the high level water level light turn on when I've turned off my return pump so I know that is working as designed.
Supposedly, it's supposed to move whenever the fleece mat becomes blocked so maybe that just takes awhile. I almost feel like I've installed it wrong but I've looked over the install instructions a few times as well as youtube vids on this. Anyone else experience something similar to what I am?

I also recently installed one and it’s only automatically rolled a few times. It can take a few days, especially initially, to catch enough gunk to actually change the water level enough to register on the sensor

It will only trigger when the sensor comes in contact with water (fleece needs to be dirty enough to cause backflow)
If it pulls up when you manually advance then it's likely installed correctly.

Thanks for sharing the log showing when the nano mat actually was working. About 4 times a day it automatically is rolling up. I'll give it a couple of days.

Is this for a nano mat? I can not find a settings button on the nano or a separate app on line.

Nano mat doesn’t connect to the app, its standalone, I have one and the water level in the rear chamber is the biggest driver to if it works smoothly. Water needs to be quite low in the return chamber.

I definitely wish there was some kind of logging on the NanoMat to let you know the last time it triggered. I installed one about a week ago and don't think it's ever triggered on its own, but I have manually triggered it and the fleece looks pretty gross.

Hi just wanted to know if the nano mat is a drop in fit for the nano g2 which is a 20 gallon tank or nano xl g2 which is a 33 gallon tank. Or it is a drop in fit for both tank?
