Is it okay to add Red Sea Reef Energy Plus to your tank if you have some green hair algae growing in your tank? Does it raise the nutrients in your tank? I’m thinking of adding some reef energy plus to my tank once or twice a week to supplement my corals.

yes, it can increase algae growth. The main active ingredient is amino acids, which is a nitrogen source to my understanding. That doesn't mean it's bad to use, just that it needs to be used in moderation, and shouldn't be used if your nitrates are already elevated. personally, I use brightwell coral aminos as a more direct amino acid source: https://amzn.to/3Tgo2HZ

I used a 500 ml bottle. Except for a bit of color, I see not much growth, and it has caused cyanobacteria growth in one spot. Switching to Seachem Reef Plus
