@Difrano good question. FMM 1) ATK & 2 leak detection probes for the display tank. FMM 2) 4 flow sensors: return pump, carbon reactor, chiller, and UV sterilizer. FMM 3) Water Change Station optical level sensors: high and low freshwater vessel, high and low saltwater vessel. I think that about covers it.One question, why do you need 3 FMM?
Now you may be wondering why 3 temperature probes? One to run the circulation fan in the IKEA cabinet, one to run the circulation fan in the 250 cabinet electronics cache, and one as a water temperature probe to regulate temperature of the system mounted in the sump.Items in my order: (3) temperature probes, (2) PM1’s, and an ORP probe.
@Difrano yeah I guess you can say I like Neptune gear. It must be the techie in me. A Trident is in the works for me too.Gotcha! You are going full Neptune in your build! I just got a Trident, DOS and DDR for my RSR 250, and I have plans to add 1 FMM in the near future, mostly for flow monitoring.
Switched from Safari to Chrome browsers and I seem to have it working now.I bought some grommets for the mounting boards but probably bought took many. Also bought another Apex annunciator to wire in series with the one I already have.
note: having trouble attaching files. This has never happened before
Here’s a video of the annoying announciator / alarm for my Apex. Wiring two in series.I bought some grommets for the mounting boards but probably bought took many. Also bought another Apex annunciator to wire in series with the one I already have.

I’m going to start researching KP Aquatics aquacultured live rock. I would only get 30-35 pounds just enough to supplement the Pukani dry rock I already have. The Pukani would be the base of 2-3 bommies where the KP would form pinnacles on top of them. It might be necessary to use acrylic rods inside the structures to keep them stable. The two major concerns are price and the sloughing of detritus getting caught in the Apex flow sensors before the rock becomes cycled.

I posted in the Aquascaping forum asking where I can get acrylic rods for aquascaping. Anyone reading this thread know?I’m going to start researching KP Aquatics aquacultured live rock.
