@Jeffcb let me elaborate on the size of this UV. I can’t remember the rule of thumb for the number of watts per gallon but Aqua Ultraviolet company rates this 13 Watt for a 75 USG system. Their 8 Watt unit they rate for a 70 USG system at least that’s what BRS says on their product description. I went for the 13 Watt it was only about $30 more but I have a custom sump that’s around 21 USG + DT 54 USG = 75 G. Today I’m going to take the housing of this uv and the shelves I made before applying another paint coat and make sure I can get both inside the cabinet. I’ll make a post on it.

There’s only two electrical outlets in the fish room and I need at least two more where #1 and #2 are. I will have to route the conduit on the outside of the wall, and run it through a hole in the wall to the outside of the house at #3.

Then the conduit comes out of the house where the lower circle is and over then up to the higher circle below the window. There it goes through the wall into the house where there is a breaker box. I want each outlet on its own 20 Amp circuit. Note the pile of ice next to the house. There was a lot of snow on the roof and then it rained making it slush. We shoveled it off and it froze on the ground. I can’t get to the wiring job until the ice melts back enough which could take awhile.

Bought this to save over a Trident for awhile. Will eventually get a Trident though. If there ever will be a Trident 2 for Nitrate and Phosphate will save over that for awhile. Will probably get one of those if it comes out. This is multi-parameter. Saves money don't have to buy each individual Checker. Discreet. One Checker to rule them all !!!

These are the best heater on the market with a three year warranty. Temp stays within 0.1* F range and does not swing! BRS quit selling them, so reliable they'll go out of business people won't need another heater!

Plan to do Micro Bubble Scrubbing in the display tank at night with the Eheim air pump and limewood wooden air stones for very fine bubbles. They say this is like wave action in shallow water on the natural reefs. The pump is quite noisy with 68 decibels. iPhone held one foot from pump. Good this is best done at night the noise won't be heard in my bedroom.

@Crabby48 I'm doing great how about you? Yes a lot of goodies, can't have too much of that. I'm moving into my new house this coming Tuesday! But can't start the flow of water until the remodeling of the room I'm repurposing as the "fish room". This build is coming along so slowly another few weeks won't be a pain.
