GFI those please :)
@Fudsey actually I put each 4-way on it's own circuit breaker in the box so in essence they work as a GFI. Additionally one 4-way will have a grounding probe submerged from the sump and the other 4-way will have a grounding probe submerged from the display tank. So if any stray voltage is picked up by either grounding probe, the whole 4-way will turn off thus protecting me, the livestock, and equipment.

@Perfectly_Imperfekt1 don’t know if you got the notification email or not but Avast came out with an upgrade to the v3.5 PLANK feeder. They have an upgraded full feeder or the kit for the path to the v3.5. The main difference is the Sicce pump from Micro to Nano with less noise, easier assemby, and much easier flow adjustment to name a few. The keg part of the feeder and the actual barrel itself are the exact same. Just the parts that go inside the barrel including the pump and the mounting bracket are different and are what come with the path to upgrade kit. The kit is on sale $10 off and I already needed to buy something else from them so I combined the order to save money. Bottom is video on how to setup the PLANK v3.5 and review by TheCoralReefTalk.

Received my package from Avast today. It did contain my extra long mixing barrel tube to install the feeder in my sump. However the upgrade to v3.5 kit did not come complete. I just received the upgraded Sicce Nano pump and not the other two parts. I emailed Justin Casp right away and he said he would make it right. Top new pump (box). Bottom: extra long mixing tube compared to stock tube to get me from top edge of sump to down near my return pump's inlet.

Received my parts from Avast yesterday. Received the pump some days ago. These are the parts for the upgrade kit to The Plank auto feeder v3.5.

@Kraken Reef received my lid for my IM Fusion NUVO. And integrative feed cup. Very well built and fits like a glove!! Five out of five stars and, “would recommend this product for anyone!!” I switched my choice of QT to the IM10 USG at the last minute, took the 20 gallon high back to Petco, and returned the Fiji Cube drop-in back chambers for the 20.

It doesn’t fit comfortably but it’s kind of jammed in there. I can get it out with a little fussing and that shouldn’t be a problem. I’m hoping it won’t rattle against the sides.

Sneak peek. I have an 80//20 project coming up. It’s not for light mounts.

Doing my 80/20 project. They gave me exactly half the fasteners I need. This is a frame that supports the weight of the frag/QT on the RSR 170 utility stand. The frame sits on the perimeter of the top of the stand and a piece of plywood sits on the frame. This evenly distributes the weight on the vertical pieces of the stand and not the top of the stand.

Control box for an Avast ATO. I will use it for shutting off my skimmer when the skimmate gets up to a certain level in the collection cup. When a liquid level rises in the tube attached to the electric switch, it will reach a point one quarter inch in the tube thereby activating the electric switch. I will simply insert the end of the tube into a hole through the skimmer collection cup lid. In this way the switch shuts off the skimmer motor before the skimmate has a chance to overflow the cup. I have another similar one but it doesn’t directly affect the AC going into the skimmer. The other one signals a switch in the Apex Break-Out-Box when the liquid level is ready. Not sure what I’ll do with the Apex compatible switch but bought this new one because it has an indicator light which will bypass guessing if I got my Apex coding right. Plus plugging it into the EB832 I can power monitor and it will indicate a power draw even if the skimmer gets switched off because the relay will have a draw.

Have one of these pre-ordered by @ReefEco . Peter didn’t have my lid size on file so I measured, entered length, and uploaded file pic for him on the “New Model Request” webpage. This is the new “STINKSINK” skimmer cup lid attachment designed for eliminating the skimmate stink we’re all familiar enough with. There’s an article and review on these here on R2R.

Noticed this newborn fawn resting in the flower bed here on the ranch.

Oh so cute!! This guy is smaller than either two of my full grown house cats!! (Just for a size comparison: the pipe sticking out of the ground with the black cap right in front of his nose is 3 inches in diameter.)

From @Printed Reef . Bristle worm trap with transparent cover and section inside to bait trap. Nicest bristle worm trap I’ve ever seen. I figure once you get the worms it’s difficult to completely eradicate them but this should keep them in check along with a Sixline Wrasse!! Can’t wait to try it out!!
