Sounds like a good list

One thing I would reconsider is the fijian pink. Against my better judgement I went with that sand by recommendation of my LFS and hated it. It blows all over the place. I eventually siphoned most of it out and replaced with special grade. There is still some of the fiji pink in there and its still a PITA

Edit: would also consider VCA RFG for return nozzle. Have been very happy with mine.

I do have a brightwell no3 export plate in my sump. It has held up well for nearly a year with no issue

Also meant to mention that I highly recommend replacing the filter sock with another filter cup. I have some Maxspect Bio-spheres in mine that I top with filter floss (and/or carbon if I want to run it) and it works out super well. I just pull out the filter floss and refresh when it gets dirty.

Its wet! Aquascape turned out great and 60lbs of life rock was the perfect amount. The Reef LED90's add the perfect amount of shimmer on the sand bed, app works great too. Will be cycling w/ Dr Tims today. More to come!

Quick question. My skimmer is off, my filter socks are out - do I also remove the bag of reef spec carbon prior to using Dr Tims One and Only?

Dont run carbon during your cycle. What tends to happen is your biological filtration will populate the carbon, which is then removed regularly. This removes some of your bio filter when you change out your carbon

Just calibrated my eheims, both were running about 2 degrees warmer than the factory setting. Aquarium should drop from 80.4 to around 78 by the morning.

Attempted to hook up my Tunze 3155 ATO but a little confused on the best approach w/ the reefer 350. I did not have enough space in the return pump area to set the sensors so I'm thinking about putting the sensors in the refugium chamber (water is very calm here, its next to the lower door bracket in pic). I was planning on mounting the return line at the top of the tank next to the overflow box to avoid any potential back siphoning. The v3 sump comes w/ a larger freshwater reservoir compared to the prior models so I will be using that tank (sits right on top of sump) for my rodi water. I believe it holds 4.7 gallons.

My question to you... any issues w/ mounting sensors in the dedicated refugium space in the V3 sumps? Putting the pump in freshwater tank (pump is in the freshwater tank in the pic) and running the return line to the top next to the overflow box?

Thanks in advance!
