Glad to hear. My LFS has used it a several times with moderate success when deployed early. I have too much coral & rock & fish for a true fallow. Given that, I have used it too. It seems to help.

You might be well served to think of this as a management tool versus an eradication tool. That is how I look at it. Ich has returned a time or two. It takes a few fish. I slap on a big UV and dose Medic. Then everything clears. I have fish that have had ich 2-3 times in the last 14 years and are still kicking. Others just up and die at the first sign.
Yah, I don't think its actually medicine but maybe a stress reducer conditioner. Second time for Ich in this tank.
The first bout a few fish got it but the Purple Tang had it for over a month and finally cleared. None died. He got it this time but has cleared already. Management.

My last Antheas-Sea Goldie. I started with 5 but 1 died after a few months. The Male and other 2 died in the last Ich epidemic about a month ago.

Should I get more mates for her? She looks lonely.

WOW... Great night for worm hunting. Flipped the overhead lights on after dark and boom! Got 2 large ones.
Unfortunately the larger of the 2 got cut un half by the tongs and fell to the bottom.

What kind of worm is that?

Happy days are here again. I don't have to lug 160 pounds of R/O water to fill up my 20 gallon ATO reservoir anymore.

We ran a R/O line from my mixing station in the garage through the attic and walls to my ATO reservoir under the tank today.

Fishing the line through the walls was not easy. This old house is built well. Who would of though they would have put insulation in the inner walls but they did. Good I guess. That makes it a little difficult to get the fish tape down the walls. Luckily it wasn't a hot day. Actually raining in South Texas and we need it so not to bad up there.

1 down 1 to go.

Yes I do. Like so far. About a year.
I too am a fan of the COR 20s. I like that the operating temperature is constantly reported. Normal temp for me is 55%. When it gets toward 70%, I know it is time to clean them.

I also like that they shut down (and ping my phone) when they run dry. I did lose a transformer out of warranty, but Neptune replaced it for free. I just paid the shipping.

I am very interested in this myself..
BUT I have 2 concerns.
1. availability for the fleece
2. long term longevity

so far ppl seem to love them. I wounder what the thoughts will be 6-12 months down the line.

I really don't mind socks. I am hoping to win one.

The paper is another expense.

I think 1200 for anything but the 750, 850, 900 and 1000 tanks is going to be overkill - not to mention sucking up a lot of sump space.
