Red Sea Reefer Tank Seal Failure

I personally have not had an issue with their tanks. I have had several, including used ones. The last used one was an E260 that I thought was a good deal until it was delivered to my house. It ended up having scratches all on it and I just gave it away out of annoyance. To date, the only leaks I have had were related to seals and pipes or my own error underneath.
If I recall, RS produces products in an ISO compliant facility. If there's a concern, go at it from that angle. Companies dislike auditors and that data should be available to anyone that has a reason to request it, including vendors.

I suspect that their action to remedy the problem is just to push the (yet to fail) G2 models and offer paltry discounts for existing customers to replace with another RS product.
They'll weather the storm and in a few years this will all be forgotten by the new customer base.
Regardless of these failures you still see lots of new RS tanks...

I just searched Red Sea leaking on YouTube . There should be a class action lawsuit this is ridiculous.

Another reminder why I switched to 3/4” acrylic

When you look at the tanks they look pretty solid. The silicone and glass are super thick so it's crazy to me why they leak. My issue with them is the crappy diaphragm valve

Yeah, I don't believe we have seen many G2s and after leaking.... Most are older tanks that have been moved multiple times. Or used it seems.

After talking with the BRS team. They are now for the last 4 months or so on the 3 variation of the reefer.
So first there was the
Red Sea reefer gen 1
Then the
Red Sea reefer g2
And now as of 4 months ago
Red Sea reefer g2 +

There is no difference in build quality between the g2 and the g2+. You just get some equipment with the g2+.
