This is turf and remove as much as you can by hand and two things that will aid is removal is :Spreads everywhere!!
Thanks for the link. I have tried most of everything other then a flamethrower. I do have a blue tuxedo urchin that eats it but not fast enough. By the time he is done in one area it has grown back in another.May be worth a read: https://www.livingreefs.com/threads/progress-on-red-turf-algae.29510/

I have not I will go look it up and do some reading on it.I have some Brightwell Razor & Clean on order & going give that way a try that was mentioned in one of those other threads. Did you try that route already?
I pulled a rock and soaked it in citric acid solution. BUT is coming back months latter, what the heckI have tried all the snails. Hydrogen peroxide works. But it grows back quickly. Hot water and turkey baster works instantly. It always come back though.
