Hello
I’m new to the hobby, I set this tank a month ago It had some diatoms which is normal in the beginning and I just realized this morning that they were going away on it’s own, the problem is when I got home from work I realized that my tank water became red/ pink.
I just tested the water and everything looks normal,
Amônia = 0
Nitrite=0
Nitrate0
Phosphate= < 3
Calcium =480
Alkaline= 7
Ph was =7.8 but now is 7.2
I tried to look online if someone had the same problem but I didn’t find anything about it..
the only thing that I can think that could have caused this issue would be Thai coral that I introduced to the tank like 2 weeks ago trying to save it and it’s probably releasing some toxins in the water.
But when I was going to take it out of the tank I realized that it still alive.
or another thing could be the diatoms that maybe is leaving the rocks since there is no diatoms on the rocks anymore.
Have Any of you had the same issue?
