My 220gal tank sprung a leak last week and now I've got a 180gal coming. My old tank had corner overflows and my new one will have a single overflow on a side (peninsula tank). My old system had flexible tubing, but other than replacing my return pump, I never moved it.
Now I'm debating doing my drains and returns all with pvc piping. I kind of like the look of hard plumbing and I think it would look less sloppy. Though I do wonder how much of an effect the hard right angles would have on my returns. My pump is located on the opposite end of the new tanks over flow.
Any thoughts?
Edit: I'm running a Pan World 50px rated for a max flow of 1110gph
