I have used both on my reef and have posted several videos on my channel. To sum it up after four months of using kz I have gone back to redsea bc I didn't see any difference for the price. For more details check out the videos best of luck

I did the full zeo program years ago with some decent results. I'm just now getting established with aquaforest and find it far easier and cheaper.

I did see your video on Zeovit. I converted over just a short 3.5 weeks to Zeovit. Prior to changing I just used a skimmer and very small refugium with literally a softball sized peice of Cheato. It never grew much over a year. With heavy feeding my nitrates stayed at 2.5 and phosphates 0.0-0.02 always. I had no algae in my display tank. Today my nitrates are up to 10 and phosphates are at 0.05. I have green hair algae popping up throughout my tank as well as the cyno that just won’t let up. My corals look good. Yes I have a 7 stage RODI and always measure 0 TDS as well as I have it checked with ICP 4 times a year. All I am dosing is Zeobak x 4 with ZS, Zeostart 0.8 per day and 4 drops SP per day. Have now added Biofil and Zeozyme 3 times a week. I am feeding way less than I did prior to the switch. Did you experience an increase in nutrients and algae growth when switching over? If so how long did it take to reduce? I’m sure I just have to be patient but would never have assumed switching a low nutrient system to Zeovit would cause a rise in nutrients and algae growth. I would love to hear if your beginning experience was like mine is.

Zeobak x4 if you mean 4x a week is a lot. 1-2x a week is best. I’ve had two tank over a few years both full zeovit with reacotor and only use kz products. You might want to hold back a bit on the zeostart. Cyanoclean has always worked for me to get rid of it and preventative. A very good resource for zeovit is the actually website, zeovit.com It’s dedicated to the process and they can def give you the best steps to take.

It’s Zeobak 4 drops daily for 10 days after the Zeo stone change and then 2-3 times a week after. Just coming up on my first stone change and dosing 3 times per week. I may cut the start dosage back and see how that works. Seems like nutrients are rising with hair algae you would want to increase and not decrease dose. Used to dose vinegar in my past and increasing always lowered nutrients. I read and the the Zeovit web admins made it sound like ZB plus Snow is better than the cyno clean. Can certainly try it. There is not much response from folks on Zeovit.com besides the Admin and his 1 helper and they only seem to get on once per day during my night time over here. Other than those two, no other user ever respond or offer suggestions, I like hearing from lots of users.

Yea it is pretty much those two but I’ve taken their advice and it’s worked. I didn’t realize your still in the starting phase. I have used coral snow plus and and it worked great. I also used it with cyano clean and both work. I use cyano clean 1x weekly as preventative. I do recall getting gha at one point in a previous zeo tank and just letting it ride out letting the tank do it’s thing and it eventually slowly went away over the course of a couple months.
