New Redsea Reefer S series. What are your thoughts. How does it match up with the waterbox?

S1000 is just a hair larger than the 3xxl 900 and is euro braced, only available in black. Waterbox has the 320...I have the 3xxl and I love it!! Having said that both the s 1000 and 320 came out after I got mine, I would've strongly leaned towards the 320 more based on size. I like tangs and large tanks tend to be easier to stabilize. I see you posted the same comparison earlier on...what sizes are you looking at?

Difference between them is stand design and overflows, both are good quality turnkey options from a brand standpoint. Red Sea had some failure issues but addressed them promptly. Either way you go they're nice tanks!

Thanks for the breakdown. I'm looking to go with a 180 gallon. I was leaning heavily towards the waterbox due to its stand option of aluminum and it's deeper width. Then redsea came out with this new series today and now I'm dead in the middle on both of them.

Looking at tanks too. My only wish was that Red Sea was a little wider and a little shorter. 30 inch wide is niceeeee. 24 feels pretty standard these days.

I just ordered a S-1000 last week. It does come in white now. I really like them. The waterbox 320.7 is super nice to but the Red Sea tank was a better value to me and I like the idea of the eurobrace on such a long tank

I'm trying to convince the fiance to let me get the s850...

Did you get your 1000 yet ? How you like
