This tank is lit by photons not meridians but this is my par map of the tank. Have to zoom to see the numbers.

Nice and slow. 1-2% raise every week or two. I never keep them at peak for that long. I hit peak and it slowly drops down.

An Edge 24 it would probably be then, but now I have decide if I do want manual. As long as the app works better than my AI Prime, I will be happy.

You've had algae and nutrient issues if I recall correctly. If you get those things dialed in, make sure your flow is strong then your corals should have less issues with higher light. Alk stability is key as well. Photosynthesis is tough on corals, so lower light levels are often better/easier for them.

I’m planning to jump in on hopefully a Black Friday sale this year and upgrade my lighting. With the research I’ve done I’m leaning towards the meridian 45 for my 48x24x16. I’m likely to keep adding rockscape for Acropora and cut back on LPS… bc I love Acros and want them all.
Will the Meridian grow wall to wall acropora in my tank or will I need a light bar down the road?
Currently having success.

2x AP9x and 2xa160. Main reason I want to change is reduced shadowing and get less “growing towards the light” with my Acropora. One fixture will also greatly simplify things like wiring. Thanks for any tips or suggestions.
Plan for meridian 45 in 14k bc I like idea of ability to adjust warmth of white and more daylight range of spectrum for acropora. Also my wife hates the blue glow in our living area. Planning 2x BOT mount.
Will reuse one AP9x for my frag tank and re-home one.

If you want to get the most out of the light I highly suggest hanging them high with the wire hanging kit . This will reduce shadowing the most. You may not need the edge bars but I ended up getting them so I can cover ever inch of my tank with LEDs but I like overkill setup.

I cannot hang them. Slanted super high ceiling above tank.

I see your point the higher the better but I have some design constraints. Really prefer a BOT setup which is one reason I prefer these lights over some others like ATI staton flex.

i purchased a 24 model for my 35”x20”x13” rimless 40g. i’m planning on using the BOT mounts. Are these really bulky inside the tank? any presets to start with? This tank is new and i’m starting from scratch with this light. I’m running a complete different setup with my 25 lagoon
