Reef cleaners dry rock

If you've used reef cleaners dry rock can you post pics of it. I'm wondering if it actually looks like the examples of it they have posted on their website. I think it looks cool and unique.

This is roughly 120 pounds of the reef cleaners rock in my 6' long tank. Excuse the poor photography! Oh, and the Cyanobacteria... :(:mad:

I really like it. One warning.. wear gloves! My finger print scanner on my phone didn't work for days after handling the rock! :p

I can't believe I don't have coraline yet. I figure it will turn purple soon enough. Just need to buy a small piece of live rock to add to it. I think I do too good a job cleaning my frags. :confused:

Reef cleaners rock shows up just like it looks on their site. Using it in my current tank and will use it in my next tank for sure.

Thanks for the pics... It does look great. I also noticed that you have the eggcrate underneath the rocks... I was planning on doing that as well.

I know I didn't need to do it, but I'm glad I did. Not only do I feel better about the rock not being directly on the glass but it helps hold the sand in place.

It's basically the same thing as BRS reef saver rock if that helps. I've used both and would happily use either again.

Funny you ask... I have some rock from reef cleaners that is 1.5 years old covered in coralline and just redid my scape this past weekend on one side with new rock from reef cleaners. So eventually the rock on the left will match the rock on the right. I like it.

The stack on the left is 4 pieces super glued together so they go together pretty seamless too. Easy to drill as well if you want to reinforce with rods. I have a much larger stack further to the left that is reinforced with rods and glue that took me 20 minutes to build. It's good stuff.

I'm debating on if or how I'm going to secure it all together when I do the aquascape...

BRS sells big bottles of super glue for like $25, I recommend that for basic reinforcement. There is a quickset spray I recommend as well that they sell which helps set a big glob of glue quickly so you don't have to prop it up or hold it for a long time. If you want more elaborate just get a long mortar drill bit along with some fiberglass driveway markers from Lowe's/HD that are about the same size. Situate 2 rocks together how you want them, drill straight through, stick the rod in and cut to length. I used super glue on the rods to keep them from sliding. Then situate your next rock, drill, rod, repeat. Afterwards I rinsed in RODI to get the dust off.

Thanks for the tips! I was thinking about the mortar from Marco rocks also... Options I guess.
