The Marine Aquarium & Reef Society Houston (MARSH) is again organizing Reef Currents Sat April 1, 2017 at the Sheraton North Houston (IAH). We've booked the entire Grand and Steven F. Austin ballrooms with one whole section of the ballroom reserved just for raffle items!



We'll again be inviting 3 national renowned speakers and featuring a raffle with several big ticket items, and other items totaling several thousands.

Thanks Dirk. The least I've traveled to buy from you was 250 miles.

And none of the many books, magazines, acrylic rods, tongs, etc. I have purchased has mysteriously died or disappeared on me no matter what my maintenance schedule. LOL. It's been money well spent.

If you don't mind saying, how many people are you expecting to be in attendance? I'm hoping to drive down from Dallas. I wish Dallas still did their big yearly show. Unfortunately they had to drop it because of low attendance. I wonder if that was an economic issue and now that the economy is a lot better if their attendance would be a lot better. I know the frag swaps seem to draw a good crowd with very little advertising.

I noticed their is a Cajun restaurant down the street from the hotel. Has anyone eaten there? Any good? I'm always up for a trying a new to me Cajun place.

Dallas sufferred the Macna curse. After doing a Macna, the club members can get exhausted. After their Macna in 2012, the next Next Wave was just too big. Especially for economic conditions. Also unfortunately the CFM was just too busy to really spend a lot of time on that event. Dallas will be back some day.
